silence? Really?

Silence does it exist?

Silence what is silence? Does silence even exist? These are questions I asked myself on my quest to search for silence however no matter how hard I tried I was never able to find the worlds mere interpretation of pure utter: SILENCE.
as people we have been forced to see as silence as nothing, no sound just nothing, however from what I have seen this nothing does not exist as sound is all around us and it is simply impossible to create.
Even in a “silent” room; you cannot create any silence, as you hear a sound a sort of high pitch whistling which gets louder the quieter you are and the more you pay attention to it, almost as if silence creates its own sound.

But this interpretation on silence does not apply to everyone in the world. A teacher once told me a story of a Japanese man who was meditating, and building upon his concentration. He sat on a chair, on his left he had 3 speakers playing very loud music, on his right he had a small bucket within water dripping into it, to build upon his concentration he aimed to focus on the dripping water while the speaker were blasting.
Meditation is a form of peace, and silence however chants are involved, although not utter silence us to those people that is considered their silence. These are some reasons why silence is hard to understand.

Some people may contradict this with the example of silent films, however silent films like all other films have an editing process, here the sound is taken out replaced by music. If it weren’t for this diagetic of screen sound would be present, not making it exactly a silent movie. So the only way to have silence is to create it, but based on this how do you create something which doesn’t exist?
